Welcome to the Premier Private Members' Club in Cheltenham

Welcome to The New Club Cheltenham, in the heart of Montpellier. 

This private members' club has a long and distinguished history of providing a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for members to enjoy the excellent bar and dining facilities and other social and sporting events which take place throughout the year.

The Club first opened its doors in 1874 moving from Imperial Square to the elegant and historic building in Montpellier in 1970. Over the many years, the Club has provided a meeting place for people who enjoy a comfortable environment to relax and meet with old and new friends. The bar is well supplied with beers, spirits and fine wines.

Members can enjoy superb dining facilities with our resident chef ensuring a consistently excellent and varied menu, changed weekly and available from Tuesday evening to Friday. Link to:  Chefs page Coffee is on tap throughout the day.

Regular social activities include snooker, a monthly book club, Pilates, a choir, golf, bridge club, rambles, as well as speakers' dinners, barbecues, Christmas and New Year celebrations and regular supper events. The Club maintains a private table at the Cheltenham Races.Link to Activities

The Club is not a political, special interest or sports club but a genuine independent Members' Club - run for the Members and by the Members for almost 150 years.
